Intercollegiate Late Mrs Kaushalya Sangtani Quiz Competition was started in the academic year 2011-2012. It is the flagship event of the college and one of the most awaited events by the colleges in Pune district among the UG and PG students.
The college started this event with two brilliant purposes –
- Testing the understanding of economics, banking, commerce and general knowledge among the students.
- Encouraging the students to pursue career in civil services. And develop among them a spirit of competition.
The quiz was named after the former President of the trust Mrs. Kaushalya Sangatani. The successful conduct of this flagship event of the college continued under the aegis of the department of economics for three consecutive years. In the subsequent years the quiz was held under the guidance of the department of commerce. It was held in disciplines of commerce, management and general knowledge. A number of management colleges participate in the quiz.
Format Of The Quiz
- Elementary round – It is meant for all the registered participating teams. It is conducted in the form of multiple choice questions.
- Intermediate round – This round begins after an hour from the conclusion of the first round. It is called intermediate because the level of toughness of questions increases in this round.
- The Quiz – The final round begins after lunch with the best selected teams, based on their performance in the first two rounds, competing for the title.

The college will continue to carry this best practice in the years to come. We intend to make this quiz online for the students in the subsequent years starting 2021. The 2020 edition of the quiz would be in Economics, Banking and Business and is scheduled for December 2020.
