A sport for everyone is our motto.
Physical Education is an integral part of the total education. Since 2015-16, Savitribai Phule Pune University made Physical Education compulsory for the First Year degree (UG) courses students.
The Physical Education and Sports department of the College is active and has shown consistency in performance since 10 yrs.
The Indoor and Outdoor facilities provided by the College include:
- Indoor– Boxing, Carrom, Chess, Judo, and Table Tennis.
- Outdoor– Basketball, Athletics, Cricket, Football, Netball, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Softball and Kho- Kho.
The College conducts Annual Interclass Sports meet in Athletics, Chess, Carrom, Table tennis, Football, Cricket, Kabaddi and Volleyball for boys and girls.
The winners and outstanding players are felicitated with mementos and sports scholarship sponsored by JHSE Trust and Staff.

Jai Hind Sindhu Education Trust
- 1200/- for State Level players
- 3000/- for National level players
- 6000/- for International Level players
Late Amina Sayyad – Inamdar Memorial Sports scholarship (sponsored by Ms.Nilofar A. Shakur Sayyad).
- Individual National / AIU level winners:
•10000/- for Gold medalist
•7000/- for Silver medalist
•4000/- for Bronze medalist - Team event National/AIU level winners:
•7000/- for Gold medalist
•5000/- for Silver medalist
•3000/- for Bronze medallist
In addition to the above, the Best Outgoing Sports student is given a cash price of 500/- plus trophy for qualifying the student should score minimum first class in Academics and should have participated in National/ AIU any Sports tournament.
Achievements in Sports
- Gitesh Mulchandani from T.Y.B.Com was selected in University Football team for consecutive 3rd year. The SPPU Football team bagged Silver Medal in Inter university Football championship.
- Reetika Bhatti from F.Y. B.Com was selected in District Zonal Lawn Tennis team. The Zonal team bagged the championship in University Interzonal Tennis tournaments.
- Vineet Kamble from T.Y.B.Com was selected in SPPU Badminton team for Inter University Badminton Tournament. The team bagged gold medal in the tournament.
- Joseph D’cruz from S.Y.BBA bagged the gold medal in District level / Zonal Intercollegiate Boxing in weight category. He was also selected in the State team for National Chess-Boxing championship where he bagged gold medal. The event was held at Gohatti, Assam.
- Gitesh Mulchandani from from S.Y.B.Com was selected in University Football team. The team won Bronze medal in the Inter University Football championship.
- Vineet Kamble from S.Y.B.Com won the title in University level Badminton in doubles and was selected in SPPU team. He was also selected as the captain of the State U -19 Badminton team and participated in the National badminton championship held at Goa.
- Sameer Inamdar from F.Y.B.Com bagged the first rank at Pune district zone. He is an Internationally rated chess player.
